France! it is, their popular capital who is Paris – is famed because of their fashion houses, classical art museums including Louvre and monuments like Eiffel Tower. The country is renowned for its Lascaux’s ancient cave drawings, Lyon’s Roman theater and the vast Palace of Versailles attest to its rich history.

Croque monsieur in English language “mister crunch” is originated in French cafes and bars as a quick snack. Traditionally made in boiled ham between Brioche like pain de mie or soft bread, topped with grated cheese-trationally emmentel (yellow medium-hard Swiss cheese) or gruyere (hard yellow cheese) or sometimes compte (French cheese) and slightly salted and peppered. Some French restaurants like Brasseries type restaurant also add Bechamel sauce (white sauce). Croque monsieur may be baked or fried so that the cheese topping melts to form a crust.

A cold dessert of French origin, Cafe Liegeois!

Cafe liegeois is made of slightly sweetened coffee, coffee flavour ice-cream, and chantilly cream or whipped cream. The required amount of lightly sweetened coffee in a large glass should be refrigerated and add the coffee ice cream and the chantilly cream just prior to serving, coffee beans or more often crushed coffee beans are put on top of chantilly cream as decoration.

France is renowned for its wines, one of their popular wine is Burgundy or in French: Bourgogne or vin de Bourgogne. A wine made in Burgundy region in France.

Burgundies are dry red wines made in from Pinot noir grapes (from the French words pine and black) and white wine made from Chardonnay grapes (green-skinned grapes). Burgundies generally have a full bodied, complex earthy flavors.

Australia’s famous meal chicken parmigiana! The dish colloquial name ‘parmi’, ‘parmy’, or ‘parma’. Chicken parmigiana is regularly served as a main meal throughout Australia, where it considered as a staple of pub food. It consist breaded chicken breast, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan or provolone cheese. Typically served with a side of chips and salad, although there are some disagreement and debate as to whether the chips should be served under or next to the chicken. Its popularity has led to a specialized chicken parmigiana restaurant opening in Melbourne.

Boerewors must contain 90% ground meat, generally beef, lamb and pork, but sometimes just a combination of lamb and pork, exactly 30% of the ground meat must contain fats. The remaining 10% contains spices like black pepper, toasted coriander or (cilantro) seeds, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, salt and vinegar for the preservation. Packed in sausage casings or sausage skin and formed traditionally in continuous spiral. Traditionally braaied (Barbecue) or grilled in charcoal. Often served with Pap – South Africa’s traditional porridge.

South Africa broke the record in Guinness World Record for braaing or barbecue for making the longest Boerewors in the world, it measures 1, 577. 75 meters in length.

Poutine is originated from Quebec – a Canadian province, it’s used as a means of stigmatization against Quebec society. Poutine became celebrated as a symbol of Quebecois cultural pride, and its prominence rise as it led to popularity outside the province. In a traditional Quebec poutine: French Fries are fried twice and medium in thickness, Fresh Cheese Curds size varies as the amount used and Brown Gravy is traditionally a light chicken, veal or turkey gravy, salty with the hint of pepper or a sauce brune. typically with vinegar or sour seasoning to balance the richness of cheese curds and fries.

Today, poutine have so many variations, you can have a poutine with toppings or a multiple choice of pepper sauce. You can also have them at fast food chains.

Caesar Cocktail also known as Bloody Caesar, created and primarily presumed in Canada. Its bloody Caesar because its similar to bloody Mary cocktail. Walter Chell is the inventor of bloody Caesar. It contains vodka, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Clam juice, tomato juice, and served with ice in a large celery-salt rimmed highball glass, garnished with stalk of celery, and wedge of lime. Caesar cocktail has a uniquely spicy flavour.

MAPLE TAFFY

Maple taffy is a tradition in Quebec – Province of Canada. Maple taffy is a sugar candy made by boiling maple syrup to 112 degrees Celsius or 235 degrees Fahrenheit, its the best to use a candy thermometer. It should not be stirred because it will form grainy crystals. The liquid will be poured in clean snow, once it sufficiently harden you can lift it up with a popsicle stick. Maple taffy is popularly eaten soft and served fresh.

Paella is traditionally cooked in an open fire, fueled by orange and pine branches along with pine cones to enhance its aromatic smoke in the Paella and usually, there is toasted rice at the bottom of the pan or the Paellera. The original recipe are Senia a short-round grain white rice but most chefs prefer bomba rice, chicken and rabbit or duck Meat, snails (optional), green beans, Garrofo, Saffron and Rosemary as seasonings, Artichokes, and Olive oil.

Not only seafood are the only type of Paella; You can have or cook a Vegetable, Valencian, Chicken, Traditional, Spanish and Mixed Paella. The picture above is a type of Valencian Paella.

From the Southeast Asian country in the Western Pacific Philippines and from its capital Manila, Chicken Adobo is the most famous dish in their country.

Chicken Adobo is usually cooked slowly in vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, crushed garlic, black pepper and you can add some potatoes. It’s best serve with white rice. Its variations is sweet-salty.
